Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is there to do in Ogunquit and Southern Maine?
A: There are many great things to see and do in the Ogunquit area.  The Chamber of Commerce has a guidebook (in three sections) that may assist in the planning of your visit to Maine.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Early May in Maine can span a huge range of weather conditions without notice.  The temperature can range from 35 degrees to 75 degrees.  Additionally, you will not be seeing us in tuxedos - hence very formal attire is not necessary.

Q: How will I get to the event from my Hotel/Motel/Inn/B&B?
A: We have hired York Trolley, which will be able to transport our guests from three or four central locations to and from Clay Hill Farm.

Q: Where are you registered?
A: We have registered at the following two locations:

Both places, when you go through these links, donate a percentage of your purchase to the Human Rights Campaign!

Q: Where should I stay?
A: We have allocated great rooms at the Hampton Inn in Wells.  There is a link to this location's website on the Links Page.  The hotel has many amenities at a great price (per night charge of $79 + tax), but it is north of downtown Ogunquit.  The deadline for the Hampton Inn reservations is 4/6/2007, and as of April 1 only 11 rooms remain available (2 of which are smoking), so reserve today!

Those people interested in being social and want to experience downtown Ogunquit over the weekend may want to consider one of the many great Inns and B & B's located throughout Ogunquit.  For these listings, check out the guidebook and suggestions on the right side of this page.

Q: Is there anything planned for the weekend outside of the ceremony?
A: As of right now, we have not made any specific plans for the day before, the day of, nor the day after the event.  At least nothing formally in the works.  That doesn't mean there will be nothing going on.  Know our families and friends - there will be plenty going on, and we're bound to be part of it in one way or another.

Q: My mail was automatically forwarded to my new address.  How can I relay my updated address to you?
A: Just shoot us a quick message through our Contact Page.  Here you can submit a message telling us exactly what information we need to change.

Q: I can't really drive to Maine.  What other options do I have?
A: Please visit our Maps Page for convenient alternatives to driving.

Q: How do I view these guidebooks?
A: You will need Adobe Reader, available here:
